The Magic Circle

The Magic Circle is a clothing optional area located in the LaPosa South Long Term Visitor Area (LTVA). It was established over 20 years ago, and has been occupied by snowbird RVers every winter. Over the years, the Magic Circle has grown in size, and now covers over 360 acres of the desert (see picture above – The Magic Circle boundary is marked in red). The Magic Circle is open desert. Although there are no RV facilities (water, dump, etc.) located within the Magic Circle, dumpsters, water and dump stations are located less than two miles away. Come prepared to boondock (dry) camp. We have a great view, and lots of sunshine.  For those inclined, we have over 3 miles of hiking trails, as shown in light blue on the above map.
The Magic Circle Naturist’s group offers nude recreation, sunbathing, and socializing during your stay. We encourage you to be involved in Magic Circle activities, but if you choose to, you can stay to yourself and enjoy the sunshine nude at your rig. We have a large tent to house our activities which includes social hour at 4:00 PM every afternoon. We celebrate holidays, and have fund raisers to support our group. We offer other activities such as 4-wheeling, movies, yoga, karaoke and crafting. There is also a small library available. The Magic Circle is affiliated with The Naturist Society (TNS). Many are members of TNS but it is not required. Everyone is welcome at the Circle, but we ask you to abide by our  Code of Conduct and follow all BLM rules.
